THE HISTORICAL BACKGROUNDS OF RUMAH YATIM ESTABLISHMENT

      April, 1997, one of our acquintances (MrAbdullah) was passed away. His acute kidney disorder forced him to leave gis world, leaving his spouse with his four little Childrem, M. Iqbal (5 Yrs), Aty Nuraini (3,5 Yrs), M. Faruq Waliullah (2 Yrs) and Salma Hanifah (5 Mnth) to face their future with no father or husband on their side. Their condition concerned us deeply. We did not dare to imagine how the newly single parent mother (Zainab Hayati, 36 yrs) will struggle to raise and giveher best for the future of her childrem. Her husband left her little resources insufficient to support their needs. Then we were touched to assist them with our limited resources to support their needs that would be not easy fot current conditions.
      Together, we rent her simple house for their shelter and we try our bests to keep her children schooling.

      Unexpetedly, neighbors living on the vicinities of the simple house that we rent for them were very interested in and gave their symphaties for all we have done. Voluntarily and willingly, they gave their charities to our orhans, made us very gratefull for their donations.
      Thanks God that we were not alone! There were too many donaters sharing their symphaties and donations and care for our orphans.

      Neighbors’ helps, the increasing needs ofourorphans, and requests from another orphans to be treated equally under our nursery have ultimately inspired us. We were deeply been touched to established a formal institution that would be better in selivering nursery services for orphans and disadvantaged childrem. Then a social charity foundation was formally born,with its primary aim to accomodate and deliver nursery free-of-charge services to the iorphans and disadvantaged childrem living in Bandung and its vicinities.

      This day, with the help of God and donaters’ contribution and charity, from Bandung City and its vicinities, RUMAH YATIM has transformed herself into formal, legal and professional social institution, trying to deliver best services and nurseries for the orphans and disadvantaged children to the extent that they will not loosing any guidance in fasing their brighter futures.
      We will srrive to ve a professional and dynamist institution, realizing the fact that any form of donaters’ supports are not easy trusts that we have to account fot them here in these woirdl and there in the herafter. General Audit of our financial statements by an independent auditor is nne if our commitments to build a credible social institution.
